Research & Facilities

The is committed to researching improvements to the learning process for students of all ages in all types educational or training organizations. The college has three research centers and one institute, including the

  • , funded by the U.S. Department of Education, which assists state educational agencies with adopting new learning strategies that improve educational outcomes; and the
  • , a diverse organization funded by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services that is considered a national leader in assistive technology, disability studies, inclusive education, justice for people with disabilities, leadership development and policy analysis.

The college also has departments dedicated to improving educational policy, organization and leadership; instructional strategies; and understanding of the relationship between behavioral health and learning. .

Research Quality & Funding

The College of Education and Human Development鈥檚 externally funded research expenditure was $13.8 million in fiscal year 2017.

Facilities

The College of Education and Human Development聽is primarily located in Ritter Hall, Ritter Hall Annex聽and Weiss Hall on 澳门六合彩官网鈥檚 Main Campus. The campus鈥� North Philadelphia location is聽suited to provide opportunities for students to engage with area schools, communities, government agencies, and for-profit and nonprofit organizations.聽
