The Lewis Katz School of Medicine conducts an individualized holistic review of each complete application to decide whom to interview. Factors include the following.聽

  • Work experience聽

  • Medical-related experience聽

The personal attributes of applicants and the corresponding pre-professional, thinking and reasoning and scientific competencies are considered during holistic review in the Katz admission process.鈥� The areas of evaluation, including the personal attributes of applicants are based on the general competency domains used to define the school鈥檚 medical education program objectives.鈥疶he Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) also served as a guide in developing the list of attributes.鈥�
