Fieldwork in Women’s Studies

Take your learning experiences beyond the classroom and gain professional knowledge with the Fieldwork in Women’s Studies course. In this course, you’ll collaborate with faculty to identify an internship within a social advocacy agency aligned to your field of interest. A minimum of 7.5 hours per week is required for completion of the course, along with a final paper or project.

Gender, Sexuality and Women’s Studies Bachelor of Arts students acquire valuable hands-on experience during their social advocacy internship. Graduates are prepared to meet contemporary institutional and organizational needs and trained to enter a wide variety of fields.
