How to Apply

The admissions process depends on if you are applying as a matriculated or non-matriculated graduate student.ÌýPlease carefully read the information below to ensure you are following the correct admissions process.Ìý

To be considered for admission to the Health Informatics Certificate (Graduate) program, you must have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. A minimum cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.0 is required.

Application Process

The admissions process and application you use depend on your student status.

Matriculated Students

If you are currently a matriculated graduate student at °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÙÍø,  to enroll in the certificate program.

Non-matriculated Students

If you are not currently a matriculated graduate student at °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÙÍø, you must submit the following credentials.

  • Application: Students should apply using the 
  • Transcripts: Submit transcripts from all post-secondary institutions attended, uploaded directly into the SOPHAS Express system

Additional Requirements for International Students

A minimum TOEFL score of 79 iBT or 550 PBT is required.ÌýA minimum IELTS score of 6.5 would also be considered.Ìý

Application Deadlines

Applicants may begin this program in the fall or the spring term.ÌýThe application deadline is rolling.Ìý

Laptop Requirement

Laptops are integrated into the curriculum at the College of Public Health to improve opportunities for active learning and provide greater access to specialized software and required tools in and out of the classroom. Incoming students are required to have a laptop that meets certain minimum hardware specifications. .
