Student Research
MS students have a wide range of opportunities to work in °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÙÍø’s ultramodern research facilities and with some of the world’s greatest scientists.Â
The trend in medical research today is interdisciplinary and translational, requiring teams of researchers from many disciplines to apply basic research findings to clinical interventions and therapeutics. Â
Our programs are on the vanguard of discovery, aiming to reduce the devastating effects of heart and lung disease, cancer, neurological disorders, and other serious diseases. Already, numerous scientific discoveries have advanced from °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÙÍø’s labs into clinical trials—work that may one day profoundly improve human lives.Â
MS students may present their work at national meetings, locally and at our annual Katz School of Medicine student research symposium.Â
