Required and elective courses vary depending on your chosen concentration.
Students with a concentration in Strings (violin, viola, cello, double bass, classical guitar and harp), Woodwinds and Brass (flute, clarinet, oboe, bassoon, saxophone, french horn, trumpet, trombone, euphonium and tuba), or Percussion may take
- Basic Conducting,
- Early Music Ensemble and
- Orchestral Repertoire.

Students with a concentration in Keyboard may take
- Accompanying and Piano Ensemble,
- Introduction to Piano Pedagogy and
- Listening & Learning Skills for Pianists.
